According to the preliminary plan, in each of the countries of Central Asia will be deployed unit 3rd Special Forces Group USA, which is based in North Carolina.

“3rd Special Forces Group will continue to carry out operations in Afghanistan and will be ready to provide assistance in training military personnel of Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, as requested by the head of U.S. Central Command,” – said in an interview with EurasiaNet, representative of the command Special Forces Lieutenant Commander Fred Kübler.
